Starch and plant-based thermoplastic plastic "BiologiQ"
100% plant-based and carbon neutral! It reduces CO2 emissions equivalent to the amount replaced by petroleum-based resins!
BioLogiQ provides a practical way to reduce the accumulation of plastic in the ocean and on Earth, offering better choices for businesses and consumers. "NuPlastiQ," made from starch and plant-based plasticizers, is a type of thermoplastic starch produced using BiologiQ's proprietary equipment. It is generally used blended with other resins. The aim is to enhance the overall bio-content and promote or impart biodegradability. 【Features of NuPlastiQ】 ■ Light yellowish transparent, amorphous (non-crystalline) pellets. ■ 100% plant-based and carbon neutral, with low CO2 emissions during combustion. ■ Thermoplastic starch with a glass transition temperature around 70-80°C. ■ Thixotropic properties make it easy to disperse in other resins. ■ Decomposes fastest in the presence of microorganisms and promotes the biodegradation of other resins. ■ Stable in the absence of microorganisms. Hygroscopic but can be dried. ■ Components comply with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's food packaging PL. ■ Capable of stable supply and easily scalable for increased production. Generally sold as BioBlend. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
